Complaints about elected officials are often voiced by disappointed voters. This happens after every election, because voters do NOT get to know - TO REALLY KNOW - for whom they cast their ballots.
During campaign season, we get to see the smiling, hand-shaking candidate kissing babies and patting shoulders, or we see ads in the media espousing their virtues. That is, we learn little to nothing about them. Once in office, we are forced to tolerate what they are and do. Often, it is NOT as promised, nor what constituents want.
Our nation has been nearly destroyed by elected officials who clearly hate the American Republic, yet somehow the importance of VETTING, or carefully and critically examining them before we put them into office. - has escaped most.
What are their past jobs and associations? Which office(s) have they held and what have they done therein? Who has funded them? What are their intentions for the office they seek?
Sounds simple enough, but a vast majority of America - if they vote at all - simply mark their ballot for a name they recognize. Or, worse yet, a party.
It’s ridiculous. Ignorant. Maddening. This is how we lose our country!
We MUST KNOW FOR WHOM WE VOTE. All the way down the ballot as far as you can go. Little worms destroy crops, while hidden deep within the leaves where you can’t even see them.
The careless/uneducated voter is part of why we are where are today. The Sheeple just do as they are told, and THEY are even worse. Our forefathers fought and died for a republic so we could be free. Throwing that away by not taking our precious vote seriously is nothing more than aiding and abetting the enemy.
Few really thought they had elected Communists to steal our government, yet those who continue to vote for Murkowski, Collins, Warren, McConnell and the other have done so. It has been clear to most of the country, for some time. Why not to them??
Some voted for the “Democrat Socialists” because they were taught that socialism, even communism, was a good thing. This is mostly the young, who have never earned enough to “conserve”, so do not even comprehend being “conservative”. There will always be a small group out there who will never fact the facts that Communism has killed more people (100 - 120 million people) than our World Wars combined, which killed 85-100 million.
It’s not just the enemies we have elected to office. We have become controlled by UNELECTED NGO’s (non-governmental organizations) who are allowed to spend our money and determine our future without our vote. It takes a special breed of politician to help us win the fight against those, because that is where the money is.
We have one of those politicians in the Oval Office right now, and I dare say that much of what is being found by his teams is still a surprise to many.
NGO’s, such as USAID, have sprung up by the thousands. I’ll even throw NPR into that category. Grok estimates there are 10-12 million worldwide, and, in 2021, 1.5 million right here in the US! One and one half million GROUPS here, in our own country, using our money in large part, without our consent.
Technically, the idea of a non-governmental organization was recognized in the middle of the last century, but came into serious power with the UN Agenda 21 treaty, which was a “soft treaty” that did not require the vote of Congress. George Bush signed us onto that mess. NGO’s exist to further UN AGENDAS. NOT OURS. Essentially, NGO’s spend our money without our permission, doing what THEY want, while trying to convince us that we really need what they are “selling”.
From Grok : Total Estimate: Approximately $490 billion in U.S. federal funding to NGOs from 1992 to 2025. Annual federal contributions to NGOs likely range from $10 billion to $50 billion in recent years.
So, America is facing a multi-pronged attack: from the United Nations and other Globalist groups, as well as from within our own ranks, from those politicians which we don’t control. This is where we can have real impact.
I’m sure some of you are laughing right now. CONTROL a politician?? Sure, Kat, you must be hitting the catnip.
The issue of controlling a politician is always a juicy one, I know, because they lie (ooops, sorry, “misrepresent”) so often, and have big, mostly DARK money behind them. From the minute they pop up on the political radar, whether in your county, or your state, they sway with the wind of what they and their advisors think we want to hear. This is where we come in!
Get out your nail gun.
We must VET them before they get in office. Nail them with what they have been and done, and tell them what we want. Ask them the tough questions and don’t let them walk away without a real answer. Avoidance is a tactic, not an statement of beliefs. .
After they are elected, it is a whole lot harder to deal with their actions. They will have accumulated all sorts of funds and “friends”. By then, they are entrenched with their PACS and dark money, and media imagery and tough, if not impossible, to dislodge.
It is up to us to get off that couch (there I go again) and out the door to learn state and local issues and ask candidates - in person if at all possible - what they will do about them? That means going to meetings, asking direct questions, and forming teams to research and follow up.
For example, let’s take Byron Donalds. Please do, many would say.
Donalds is running for Governor of Florida, as you may know; Ron DeSantis is term-limited. Donalds is already posted everywhere as a “rising star”, most likely because of the Trump endorsement. That is another issue for an other time; speculation on that runs deep.
So, Florida, make Mr. Donalds answer direct questions. Ask him, in public preferably, if he supports the rapid investment in and development of solar power over traditional - and MUCH more effective and efficient - natural gas, oil coal and nuclear. Make him say WHY. Ask for HIS energy plan.
If he says anything about “green” energy, run. Only Globalists, or uninformed rookies, push that grim fairy tale
See if he supports legislation to end dark money, given by whomever, for use by whomever, for projects of their choice, not those of citizens. See if he even knows the term.
Ask, too, about his thoughts on the Live Local Act, wherein Tallahassee removed the rights of locals to control the fate of their surrounding lands. While you’re at it, ask if he would approve the use of radioactive materials in road construction and school playgrounds and state parks, or if he would veto $150k for a Veterans Treatment Court.
Learn the issues and quiz every candidate similarly. Try to do so in a public meeting; sending letters to staff is much less effective, imho.
Every candidate, every issue.
If this order seems to tall, consider the ancient prophet Elijah, in 1Kings 18, who, on Mt. Carmel, witnessed the people rise up and seize the priests of the false god, the prophets of Baal - as is happening today in our own nation. When Elijah heard that Jezebel was going to kill him, he was afraid. But, God reminded his he was NOT alone. Many others agreed with him.
That is the message for us, too, as we go forth to shine the light of truth on those who are to represent US, in our government. Our politicians.
Yes, there are those Jezebels on the Left, angry demons- many albeit PAID by professional organizers - who still want to act out their rage. Violence and lies are the only platform remaining to the Left, however, and the people have had enough. Latest polls show support of only 20% of voters for these kinds of horror shows.
Remember that, and listen to God’s message to Elijah. You are NOT alone in your efforts to clean our Governmental house.
The more you and your local groups do, the more the truth will spread. Here, I am thinking of Alan Ross and the UltraMagaPatriots.com and their efforts to end the dark money debacle. And Dave Walsh, the energy expert who is single-handedly battling the solar energy storm now brewing in Florida, and in other places in the nation.
Great work on an important issues, with growing support for each. Progress on two very key issues. This is how it’s done. Just get off the couch and out the door. Winning does not come from a keyboard alone; shoe leather is mandatory.
Issues of key importance may vary from county to county, state to state, but it is OUR jobs as citizens who want to live in a free republic, to know those issues and how our elected representatives will deal with them.
The campaigns and plans for 2026 have already started. Local elections of great import will be scattered between now and Nov. 2026. Replacing Republican Rep. Mark Green of TN7, is one. The leftist jackals in middle TN are circling over the position, hoping to take another House seat out of our slim margin.
It is not too early; we must stay on top of candidates and issues all the time. The 2026 midterm elections are in 15 short months.
Be there for our republic. It’s time to show Mr. Franklin that we can keep it.
Blessings,
Kat

Today is not too early to begin to vet candidates for the upcoming elections.
Once again, you said what needed to be said. Excellent.
