You are exactly correct. but finding Constitutional sheriffs is difficult thing to do. Once I interviewed the pres. of the Virginia Sheriff's Assn., and he told me that the Governor controlled the purse strings, and he could not afford to take a cut in personnel. MOney rules..

I interacted with chiefs of police, sheriffs, captains of state police detachments, presidents of all types of police associations regarding an article that I wrote about the innocence of Derek Chauvin. None wanted to touch it. Most pressed me not to even send it to them. One told me that he was frightened to see riots outside of his home. One became very angry when I brought up the term, 'cowardice'. But these people do not represent either the best interests of the public or the police officers that they either supervise or are supposed to be representing. There is a major problem of bureaucratic capture in all of our societal institutions and there is an addition goo that covers all of them, managers and workers, in every type of agency: it is a goo of inactivating fear and of conformity. https://dschmitt.substack.com/p/the-chauvin-case-part-2-the-anatomy. Thank you for calling them out. Thank you for focusing on this important topic and well as as we widen the light, allowing us to see the manner in which our institutions have been stolen and turned against us. Thank you for added one more bit of evidence to the picture of how we are being enclaved. Thank you for--beyond complaining--exploring modes of action. 'Phronesis' (wisdom in practice) equals pursuing both good theory and good actions (praxis)---neither can be ignored if one is to live virtuously.

1000% agreed! Waiting for Tallahassee response. Not holding my breath, however. Probably will be a finger shake on Twitter, if anything at all.

Krisanne Hall said a long time ago a constitutional sheriff is key to our liberty. I met sheriff Mack that started the constitutional sheriff and peace officers association CSPOA.org. Thank you. I appreciate you!

"Charlie Crist" Repubs have been a long time political problem in Florida. If DeSantis wants to seek another political office He Had Better Tend to Local Business like in Jax.

and the Duval County Sheriff should just tell the "Mayor" to go suck pond water.
